About me

Austin-based cellist, composer, and producer Alexis Wolfe oscillates between the worlds of classical composition and contemporary songwriting.  She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Media with an emphasis in Violoncello and training in music production. Throughout her music education she gained extensive training in recording and production strategies, electronic music synthesis, and DAW- based music theory. Her classical training in music theory, composition, and performance has allowed her to gain a nuanced perspective to production and contemporary songwriting. Alexis applies her education in contemporary, classical, and jazz music and utilizes elements of all to create rich and nuanced compositions.​
